Calling all expats

Richard was referred by a local estate agent to a young family returning from Dubai who were looking to buy a family home in one of the villages south of Bath. With three young children, they were keen to live close to their school, where there was a great sense of community – and a good village pub!

A house in the country

Richard was recommended to a family in Hampshire looking to relocate to Wiltshire for their children’s schooling. They were looking for a substantial country house suitable for a large family with at least five acres of land within fifteen minutes of Bath. The search begun in March but the right place needed to be found well before September when the children were due to start their new school.

London to Bath

With its mix of city and countryside, Bath is the perfect place for Londoners to relocate. Recently, Richard was recommended by one of his estate agency contacts to a family moving from Putney who were looking for a large Georgian townhouse, close to Bath’s centre, but not too far from the railway station or school. They had sold their house in London and were eager to find somewhere as soon as possible.

Repeat business

Richard was first introduced to his clients in 2021. They had sold their house in East Sussex and were looking to move to Bath but they needed to find something quickly. This was not going to be easy in times of Covid but Richard accepted the task of finding them a beautiful Georgian townhouse packed with period detail close to the city centre.
