Calling all expats
The brief
Richard was referred by a local estate agent to a young family returning from Dubai who were looking to buy a family home in one of the villages south of Bath. With three young children, they were keen to live close to their school, where there was a great sense of community – and a good village pub!
The outcome
Richard arranged for them to come over to the UK for a couple of days’ orientation and to visit a few properties together. This enabled him to get a better understanding of what they were really looking for and which villages they liked. It was then left to Richard to preview properties on their behalf and help them make an informed decision whether to travel back and view or not, saving them a huge amount of time and money in the process.
After a short while, they chose a house in Wellow and asked Richard to oversee the whole buying process from initial negotiation right up to completion. For the client, the purchase went through with the minimum amount of stress and worry.
